What’s it like directing and photographing one of the best actresses in the world? In a word? Surreal.
Swisse needed to find a director/photographer they could pair up with Nicole Kidman to work one-on-one while creating their new Live Healthy Be Happy campaign. Nicole Kidman personally selected John Urbano to be that director.
Working with ad agency Noisy Beast, John shot and directed four TV commercials along with a print campaign for Swisse. Shooting for two days with Nicole Kidman in her native country of Australia is one of John's greatest memories as a commercial filmmaker. From sunrise to sunset, John and Nicole worked tirelessly to capture honest, beautiful, real moments with Nicole, rarely seen in the commercial world.
